‘Dune: Part Two’ and ‘Waktu Maghrib’ to Hit Theaters This Friday

‘Dune: Part Two’ and ‘Waktu Maghrib’ are coming to Pakistani cinemas this Friday. Here’s what to expect from both.

Dune: Part Two

The sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s science fiction epic is hitting theaters this Friday. The sequel will see the adaption of the second half of Frank Herbert’s novel on the desert planet. It follows Paul Atreides as he seeks revenge against the murderers of his family and fulfils the prophecy of becoming the messiah of the Fremen.

The film stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and Christopher Walken.

Waktu Maghrib

This Indonesian horror film comes at the heels of the success of ‘Sijjin’. The plot involves a group of children who are affected by a demonic presence in their village at Dusk or at Maghrib. The film will be relatable to Pakistani audiences since children are told to remain indoors after Maghrib since it gets dark.

The film seems to offer scares much the same way as ‘Sijjin’ did, but perhaps in a much different setting.
