Shamoon Abbasi Joins the Cast of ‘Delhi Gate’ as the Prime Antagonist

Shamoon Abbasi has joined the cast of “Delhi Gate”, a romantic thriller, where he will be playing the role of ‘Malik Gold’, the primary antagonist in the film. The veteran known for his portrayal of antagonists in Pakistani cinema, and recently popularized with films like “Waar” and “Durj”, posted a status on Facebook talking about his role in the film.

He posted a picture of his avatar in the film, striking a pose in gold threads, holding a gun in each hand, surrounded by goons at his side. The film will be centered on a romance that will relate to Delhi Gate, one of the thirteen gates of the old walled city of Lahore.

Shamoon Abbasi had previously denied being part of the film when in December, his name was mentioned in the cast. This was due to issues he had with the script and a few contract negotiations that had to be finalized.

Directed by Nadeem Cheema, “Delhi Gate” will star Jawed Sheikh, Roma Michael, Yasir Khan, Rashid Mehmood, Khalid Butt, Saud, Sheheryar Cheema, and Shamoon Abbasi.
