Pakistani stars are finally getting the due recognition in international media. Just a few days back Fawad Khan confirmed his role in Disney+ ‘s Ms Marvel. Then came the news of Humayun Saeed getting the role of Dr. Hasnat Khan in the fifth season of Netflix’s “The Crown”. Sajal Aly too is a part of Jemima Goldsmith’s Hollywood production “Whats love got to do with it”.
The latest to join the bandwagon of Pakistani actors on their way to Hollywood is Mehwish Hayat. The latest is that the “Load Wedding” star will also be seen in “Ms. Marvel” alongside Humayun Saeed, Fawad Khan and Nimra Bucha. Although not much has been revealed about their roles and screen time, however, it’s been confirmed that the four Pakistani actors will be seen in “Ms. Marvel”.
It’s refreshing to finally see our own stars being casted to play characters of Pakistani origin. This will help Pakistani stars to get the due recognition in international markets.
