Teaser of one of the awaited sequels of Pakistani film industry, “Wrong No. 2” was released recently and it grabbed attention from all over.
Film has already been announced to be released by Distribution Club (IMGC) in Pakistan with GEO network as media partner. However the latest update is that “Wrong No. 2” will get a simultaneous worldwide release and for overseas distribution, a deal with EROS International has been finalized. EROS is the same international distribution company that in 2011 released Shoaib Mansoor’s blockbuster “BOL” in overseas and now this is their second collaboration for a Pakistani film, after eight years.
This, in an exclusive reveal, is informed to Pakistani Cinema by the producer of film Hassan Zia. We also inquired about the music rights for the film, that previously were sold to ZEE music company. That deal, according to Hassan Zia, has been called off for the company was not able to carry on things as per plan due to Indo Pak tensions. The question is now to whom the rights for film’s music will be sold? That is yet to be decided.
“Wrong No. 2” stars Sami Khan, Neelam Muneer, Jawed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Sana Fakhar, Yasir Nawaz and Danish Nawaz.
Film is scheduled to hit cinemas this year on Eidul Fitr
