Horror Feature ‘Kataksha’ to grace London FrightFest Film Festival this Fall

Pakistani psychological horror feature “Kataksha” will be shown at the London FrightFest Film Festival in August this year. The film, directed by Abu Aleeha, is a low budget horror feature that is centered on the Katas Raj Temple situated in Chakwal.

While details regarding the project remain scarce, the fact that it’s being screened at the 20 years old FrightFest means that it stands to win favour with international audiences, investors and exhibitors who remain on the lookout for fresh talent. The festival screens indie horror films from all over the world.

“Kataksha” features Saleem Meiraj, Mubeen Gabol, Kasim Khan and Kiran Tabeer in lead roles and will be screened at the FrightFest in August of this year.

“Kataksha” is all set for release in cinemas nationwide on June 21.
