We all remember the buzz and uproar created by animated comedy ”The Donkey King” last year. Produced under the banner of Talisman Studios, the animated film directed by Aziz Jindani was initially released in October 2018 with Geo Films being the distributor. The film went on to become talk of the town and a hit among the masses being equally popular among adults and kids.
The film shattered many records at the boxoffice becoming highest grossing animated film ever by raking in 26 crore at local box office. The film has now added another feather in its cap as it’s ready to release in South Korean theaters this August 28. News was broke by Aziz himself through his social media handle.
“The Donkey King” becomes the first Pakistani movie to see a release in South Korean theaters. Will this open new avenues for Pakistani films in South Korean market? Release of “The Donkey King” will certainly answer this.
