The third weekend of November brings three very different films for cinegoers. Two Hollywood flicks and one local offering means that you’ll be spoiled for choice. Let’s see what the weekend has in store.
Ford v Ferrari
The first entry on the list is a historical sports-drama starring Christian Bale and Matt Damon. The two powerhouse actors unite as legends of the auto industry. The task in front of them is to turn a Ford in to a race car that can challenge the mythical speed of the Ferrari. Their challenge is to beat the Ferrari at the Le Mans in France, which is the oldest active sports car race. This is a chapter in the history books that not many are familiar with. The film features incredible drama, and heart stopping racing sequences. This is the full package. Don’t miss out on the adrenaline rush.
Charlie’s Angels
For those who need a rush of nostalgia, this one’s for them. Charlie’s Angels 2019 stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. Behind the camera is Elizabeth Banks, who also plays a pivotal role in the movie.
The film is yet another reboot of the Charlie’s Angels property. If you recall, the last one starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. If you like glamour, action, and a great ensemble cast, don’t miss this one.
Talaash
Talaash is the only local offering releasing this week. It stars a huge cast of talented veterans like Saleem Meiraj and the legendary Mustafa Qureshi, as well as new talent like Faria Hassan, NoamanSami and Zeb Ahmed. The film can best be described as a romantic adventure with a social message. It’s also filled with deceit, intrigue, and a little dash of action. Don’t miss this one if you’re hankering for some local flavor.
