11 Pakistani Films to Screen at Dubai Expo 2022

If you are living in Dubai or are planning to visit during the months of January or February, you can have a perfect dose of desi entertainment there, as eleven Pakistani films will be screened at Pakistan Pavilion, Dubai Expo-2022. The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Choudhry, last night in a tweet.

Screening of Pakistani films will start from today and will last till February 26^th. Here are the films that will be screened at Dubai Expo-2022.

1. Teefa in Trouble

The Ali Zafar and Maya Ali starrer was released back in 2018. This blockbuster action-comedy will be screened on 21^st of January.

2. Load Wedding

This critically acclaimed film by Filmwala Pictures was released on Eid-ul-Azha back in 2018. Film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat and it will be screened on 22^nd of January.

3. Parey Hut Love

One of the highest grossing Pakistani films of 2019, ‘Parey Hut Love’ starring Sheheryar Munawar and Maya Ali, will be screened on 29^th of January.

4. Actor in Law

Starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles, ‘Actor in Law’ is the highest grossing Pakistani film of 2016. This blockbuster film by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza will be screened on January 30^th.

5. Parwaaz Hai Junoon

Released on Eid-ul-Azha 2018, this too was a blockbuster hit by MD Productions. Film stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Aamir and Ahad Raza Mir and it will be screened on February 5.

6. Bin Roye

Produced by MD Productions, ‘Bin Roye’ was released on Eid-ul-Fitr 2015. Starring Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan and Armeena Rana Khan, this film will screened on February 6^th.

7. Heer Maan Ja

Starring Ali Rehman and Hareem Farooq in lead roles, this IRK Films production was released on Eid-ul-Azha 2019 and is to be screened on February 12^th.

8. Parchi

Starring Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Usman Mukhtar in lead roles, this is another IRK Films production that you can watch at Dubai Expo. It will be screened on February 13^th.

9. Chhalawa

This Wajahat Rauf directorial is a superhit from 2019. It stars Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui in lead roles. Film will be screened on 19^th of February.

10. Superstar

One of the highest grossing films of 2019, ‘Superstar’ stars Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf. This MD Productions film will be screened on 20^th of February.

11. Saawan

Released back in 2017, ‘Saawan’ was selected from Pakistan for submission for 90^th Academy Awards in the category of ‘Best Foreign Language Film’. It will be the last film to be screened on February 26^th.
