Famous anchor person Kamran Shahid’s passion project “Huey Tum Ajnabi” finally gets a release date. Film will release in cinemas on Eid-ul-Fitr, 2023 by Mandviwalla Entertainment. The announcement was made at the trailer launch event happened yesterday on 8th February in Lahore.
According to Kamran Shahid, “Huey Tum Ajnabi” is a romantic period drama film set in the backdrop of 1971. While the film showcases some of the major events of fall of Dhaka, it is said to be not a political commentary and focuses more on the story of lead cast.
Kamran also claims that the film is not sponsored by ISPR and it’s his independent and unbiased take on the events of that era. Also mentioning that he has shown Mujeeb ul Rehman, Indira Gandhi and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, all of them in a dignified manner without hurting someone’s sentiments.
Film stars Mikaal Zulfiqar, Sadia Khan along with Shamoon Abbasi, Resham, Shaahid, Mehmood Aslam, Sohail Ahmad, Shafqat Cheema, Adnan Jillani, Ayesha Omar and Samina Peerzada.
Film’s theatrical trailer is released in cinemas and it will be released online soon.
