Rana Kamran, an established cinematographer in the Pakistani film industry is gearing up for his directorial debut called “VIP”. Releasing on Eid Ul Azha, the film stars Zack and Nimra, Ehteshamuddin, Saleem Meiraj and many others.
A mass political entertainer, the film centers on a young boy and his aspirations for higher office. Campaigning, elections, action and entertainment are what follow in the VIP trailer. Since the film is about an election rather than a straight romantic comedy, audiences may find something different to look forward to on Baqr Eid.
The film is ostensibly about treating the populace with respect and the electorate as VIPs. That’s something that we all wish for, especially in the current circumstances that the country is in.
The teaser trailer is packed with enough intrigue and fast paced editing to keep people interested. Hopefully the full trailer will provide more of the same.
