Indian Punjabi comedy ‘Carry On Jatta 3’ has created massive records with unimaginable business across all markets of Punjabi cinema. The film has become the first and only Indian Punjabi film to hit the ceiling of 100 crore INR worldwide.
In Pakistan too, the Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa starrer has done a mammoth business for a regional language film. While no other Indian Punjabi film has ever been able to hit 10 crore, ‘Carry On Jatta’ has surpassed 28 crore PKR in Pakistan as per estimates by Entertainment Pakistan (EPK).
The film already had become the highest grossing Indian Punjabi film in Pakistan back in July with a gross of 7.25 crore over the extended Eid-ul-Azha weekend. The film has managed to hold shows infront of recent releases like ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ and is still running successfully in different cinemas across Punjab.
