Noor-ul-Hassan Joins Cast of “Salahuddin Ayyubi” in Turkey

“Salahudin Eyubi”, a historical period drama series produced by the collaboration of Turkey and Pakistan, has been in news since its announcement three years ago for many reasons.

The project was announced to have a cast from both Turkey and Pakistan and a number of Pakistani actors like Ushna Shah and Ayesha Omar were confirmed to be the part of it. A group of Pakistani actors and producers visited the grand sets of series in Istanbul in July, 2022.

Pakistani fans were disappointed when promos of the series were released in 2023 and people couldn’t spot a single Pakistani face in the promos. Morever, “Razia” series star Shaheera Jalil Albasit opened up in her interview with Amna Isani that how a huge number of Pakistani actors auditioned for this period drama but no one got a call back since then. This initiated a list of actors who came up and shared their similar experiences.

Later the Pakistani producers cleared the air during the premiere of the series in Pakistan in November, 2023, saying that Pakistani actors will definitely be a part of this series.

Fast-forward to May, 2024, Noor-ul-Hassan shares his photos and videos from the sets of the series in Istanbul. This has also given Pakistani fans a hope to see more Pakistani representation in this collaborative project in coming days.

Noor gave his Instagram followers a tour to the grand sets of the project. He also shared his photos with lead actor of series, Uğur Güneş, and with director of the series.
