“The Legend of Maula Jatt” will hit theaters in Indian Punjab on 30th December. PVR Cinemas, India’s pioneering cinema chain, have listed it as an upcoming release with “9 Days to Go”. The film’s trailer is also apparently playing in cinemas in East Punjab, featuring a 30th December release date.
As the cacophony to release “The Legend of Maula Jatt” in India by Zee Studio grows louder, its release in Indian Punjab has been confirmed by multiple sources.
PVR Cinemas, which lists all movie releases in India has listed The Legend of Maula Jatt with a tentative release date of 30th December. Also, the YouTube Channel Punjabi Screen Entertainment features a video from December 17th which announces the film’s release in Indian Punjab. The video also shows a recording from a theater playing the trailer of “The Legend of Maula Jatt”, ending with a 30th December release date.
At this point, we’re all just waiting for the official confirmation. However, when the film does release in India, sparks will fly. Let us hope, they’re all in celebration of a film that has brought so many people back to the theaters after so long.
