“Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God” Teaser is Huge

It’s taken 5 years, but the sequel to the original “Allahyar: The Legend of Markhor” is finally coming out. The teaser for the film is out, and it promises a huge animated epic that the Pakistani film industry has never seen. And the film is being shown in 3D, no less!

The teaser shows Allahyar and his friend Hero, the Chakor, and a mysterious third ally facing off against robot police in a futuristic, mechanized city. The two heroes are fitted with mechanized suits of armor reminiscent of steampunk novels, and Robocop.

The teaser raises the stakes in showing us a huge world, but also raises questions.

What are the 100 flowers? Is the sequel connected to the first film? How did we end up in a futuristic city after the lush forests of northern Pakistan? And where is Mehru, the Markhor from the first film?

We hope the film answers all these questions and gives us a huge cinematic experience when it comes out on June 2^nd, 2023.
