Abhi

A love story featuring the fight for Kashmir at its center, ‘Abhi’ stars the Jal Band co-founder, Goher Mumtaz, and Kubra Khan in what seems like a whirlwind romance. The film seems to be about the choice between duty to your motherland versus your artistic or creative calling.

Abhi also seems to present the conflict from the perspective of a Sikh family rather than a Muslim one. The feature is being distributed by HUM Films.

Bhediya

This one’s been pushed and pushed for release for months. It stars Shahzad Billa as the titular animal who stalks and kills young women. The motive for the killings nor the impulse is explained in the teaser, but there is bound to be a lot of blood in this one.

Written and Directed by the lead star himself, this film follows in the footsteps of ‘Zibah Khaana’ and ‘Durj’ as a horror film that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Manju Mariya

‘Manju Mariya’ was also supposed to be released on Eid Ul Fitr 2024, but was pushed. This one stars Asad Ali and Kiran Kazmi in their lead debuts. This one is about a holiday gone wrong. The lead couple head to the north for a trip prepared by an old friend, but things soon start to go awry.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die

The fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence with their signature energy. This time their old boss Captain Howard is facing criminal charges and the Bad Boys are out to clear his name.

Like the previous film, this one is also directed by Adil and Bilall. If been a fan of the franchise, you’ll probably enjoy this one too. Watch this one with your friends.

Inside Out 2

It’s been nearly ten years since Pixar tugged at our heart strings with the original ‘Inside Out’. Now, they’re introducing new emotions that plague each one of us when we become teenagers like anxiety and depression.

If it’s anything like the previous film, this will also leave us teary eyed and heavy-hearted. Go watch this one with your kids or your parents.
