“Balu Mahi” producer, Sadia Jabbar announces return with “Middle Class”

One of the earliest big film offering from Pakistani Cinema in year 2017 was Balu Mahi . The film produced by Sadia Jabbar and directed by Haissam Hussain promised to be a breath of fresh air with a brand new cast, crew and locations . While the film managed to bring all the fresh feel to the cinema screen, it bombed at box office namely because of a cliche plot and un suitable release time.

Sadia Jabbar is now planning a return to cinema medium with second feature film titled “Middle Class ” which she revealed while talking to “Images” .

“The story is about dreams and desires of Pakistani middle class”

Talking about content of the film she revealed that the storyline depicts dreams and desires of Pakistani society and is going to be content driven with a high entertainment level, also highlighting Pakistani middle class’s issues we all are aware of. Well that sounds interesting and relatable for major portion of our society.

The film will go on floors by summers next year and is planned to have a 2020 release. Cast however is yet to be finalized but according to Jabbar it will constitute youngsters so it wont be surprising to see some debuts.

We wish good luck to the team and hope this turns out to be a better cinematic experience than Balu Mahi.
