“Load Wedding” has made it to streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video. You can now watch the film till your heart’s content on the international streaming platform. Amazon Prime is one of the two major streaming platforms in the world, the other being Netflix.
Of course, the Amazon Prime Video account is only available to those with US and UK addresses. However, this is good news for those living abroad and those that have an Amazon Prime account instead of a Netflix account. They can now enjoy the sleeper hit of last year.
The film is also available on on YouTube (but with ad breaks).
“Load Wedding” was a commercial entertainer with a message that touched on the evils of dowry and superstition regarding widows in Pakistan. The film was a social commentary on the tattered traditions in Pakistan that need to be done away with.
Though the film was unjustly released to limited screens on Eid Ul Azha in 2018, it still managed to mint 13.5 Cr at the box office. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles.
