“Sonic” and “Record” Close Out February with Decent Collections

The two new releases this year, Sonic and Record closed out February with a decent collection.

Record, a local release with a niche appeal, raked in 2 Lacs. The found footage Thriller was never expected to take in big numbers due to the limited marketing and a very specific plot. The film may yet close out the weekend with 5 Lacs in its kitty.

As for Sonic the Hedgehog, it collected 13 Lacs on opening day. However, it did lose some steam because it was released in Pakistan 2 weeks after its international release. The animated hedgehog is accompanied by the legendary Jim Carrey.
