20th edition of Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF), India’s biggest multicultural street art festival finally kicked off this friday to a great response, in Mumbai. The festival is a flamboyance celebration of art, dance, street performances, literature, theater, workshop, food, and cultural events. Apart from other productive activities and panel discussions about culture and boundaries, the festival screens multiple movies from different cultures.
There has always been a love and hate relationship between Pakistan and India and Art has been the only ray of hope for any kind of mutual understanding and acceptance.

To set an example for this and to take the cultural relationship of Ind o Pak forward, the Om Puri Foundation presented Fahad Mustafa starrer “Actor in Law”, to screen at festival, which sadly is Om Puri’s last film. As per reports, film was screened this last Sunday at the Visitor’s Centre, Mumbai.
This however was not the first time when “Actor in Law” got a screening in India. This Nabeel Qureshi directed film was first screened in Mumbai to pay homage to Om Puri and just last month it got screening at annual festival organised by South Asia Forum for Art & Creative Heritage (SAFACH), New Delhi.
