‘Abhi’ Trailer Promises Equal Dose Of Patriotism, Action And Romance!

The trailer of Gohar Mumtaz and Kubra Khan’s upcoming film ‘Abhi’ recently surfaced online. Set in the snow-covered peaks and valleys of Kashmir, ‘Abhi’ is an intriguing spy tale with a dash of romance, action and music. In a series of unfortunate events, his world changes upside down. There are layers to Gohar’s character as we see him as an aspiring musician wanting to make it big in the world of music. Coming to Kubra Khan, she looks like the perfect muse. For the unversed, this is Kubra’s first solo outing as a leading lady. Not only does she look stunning and perform the pre-requisites with panache, but she looks promising in the emotional sequences as well.

Loaded with ample thrilling moments, the teaser showcases the scenic beauty of Pakistan in all its glory. The lush green meadows and flowing rivers serve as the perfect breathtaking backdrop. The trailer is filled with some good action scenes, dialogues that evoke patriotism, and also sequences that showcase Mumtaz and Khan’s on-screen chemistry.

Another major highlight of the film is the music. The legendary Shoaib Mansoor has given his input for the title track. The music album has an interesting mix of singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tanya Wells, Aima Baig, Nish Asher and Goher Mumtaz.

The story and concept has been done by Goher Mumtaz. The film is directed by Asad Mumtaz and produced by Khalid Iqbal Bhatti. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shoaib Rabbani. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Usman Peerzada, Saleem Sheikh, Hina Bayat, Mehmood Aslam and Adnan Shah Tipu. Hareem Farooq features in an extended cameo.

‘Abhi’ comes across as a perfect Eid Entertainer. It has the potential to end the dry spell at the box office. The film will be released worldwide on Eid-ul-Azha, 2024.
