Avengers Endgame is undoubtedly the biggest film of the year and perhaps the decade. The ostensibly final Avengers film, which deals with the damage done in Infinity War by the Mad Titan Thanos, has managed to rake in 14.5 crores at the Pakistani Box Office during its opening weekend.
This is unprecedented and has shown what is possible even in Pakistan’s relatively small cinema circuit.
The film collected 4.55 crores on it’s opening day (Friday, 26th April) and continued to dominate through Saturday (5.5 crores) and Sunday (4.5 crores).
These totals have left behind previous records held by the Salman Khan starrer Sultan (biggest opening day of 3.4 crores, and biggest opening weekend of 11.25 crores).
At this point there’s no telling how much Endgame will go on to do. We’ll have to look to next week’s numbers to determine that.
