Exclusive: Sajal Aly Walks Out of ‘Faraar’: Mamya Shajaffar And Sabeena Farooq Step In

Actors walking out of projects is very common in the industry. However, it is challenging for the actor to fill in. Earlier this month we reported that Sajal Aly and Hamza Ali Abbasi will team up once again for Syed Wajahat Hussain’s serial ‘Faraar’. Unfortunately, Aly and Abbasi’s fans have to wait for their favorite stars to reunite.

According to sources close to the producers, Sajal Aly has walked out of ‘Faraar’ due to some personal reasons. Mamya Shajaffar and Sabeena Farooq have now joined the cast. They will be paired alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ahmed Ali Akbar.

On the professional front, Mamya Shahjaffar has emerged as the next big sensation. Starting her journey with the drama serial ‘Meesni’, she further shined in projects like ‘Jhok Sarkar’, ‘College Gate’ and the recent ‘Jaan Se Pyara Juni’. This isn’t it, she has plum offerings ahead that include Pakistan’s first vertically shot film series ‘Crossroads’ and a feature film ‘Luv Di Saun’ opposite Farhan Saeed.

Sabeena Farooq was a revelation in Kashif Nisar’s ‘Kabli Pulao’. Interestingly, her next ‘Mann Jogi’ is also directed by Nisar and stars Bilal Abbas Khan and Gohar Rasheed. Ditto for Ahmed Ali Akbar, who gave his career best act in ‘Parizaad’ followed by the critically acclaimed ‘Idiot’. Hamza Ali Abbasi recently made waves with Jaan-e-Jahan.
