Ishrat Made In China: Cast And Crew Stuck In Thailand, Request Authorities To Intervene

Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed, and Shamoon Abbasi along with other members of the cast and crew of “Ishrat Made in China” are stuck in Thailand. They had been shooting for the film and had made arrangements to do so in March. However, when they arrived in February, the coronavirus pandemic went global.

Now they’re running out of resources and are appealing to the Pakistani government to get them back to Pakistan. Shamoon Abbasi and Mohib Mirza have made videos detailing their situation as of now. They’re all maintaining social distancing and all 21 members of the cast and crew are healthy.

Shamoon Abbasi also mentioned in his video that along with them, 100 other Pakistanis were stuck in Thailand. They are currently in correspondence with the Pakistan Embassy in Thailand. They have appealed to the Pakistani government to get them back to their home country in the following days as the government has begun limited flights to Canada, the UK, Malaysia, and other countries.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for us all as the coronavirus spread has claimed thousands of lives and the cases have blown past a million worldwide. During this trying time a lot of people are stuck in transit and can’t get back to their own countries.
